Greetings Sun & Earthlings!  Looking for a way to beat the heat this summer?  Try out our favorite new recipe for the most refreshing ice pops we’ve ever had.  Filled with fresh fruit and lots of vitamins, these are sure to be a crowd-pleaser whether you make them for your kids or your next barbecue.  The fresh fruit with the clear juice gives them a colorful look without using any artificial dyes.  You can choose any fruit you like, but we were incredibly happy with this combination.  Try them out and let us know what you think!

Fresh Fruit Popsicles


1 orange, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch slices (1/2 cup)
1 kiwi, peeled and sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
1 nectarine, cut into 1/2-inch slices
1/2 cup blueberries
1 plum, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 1/2 to 2 cups of fruit punch or 100 percent white-grape juice


1. Combine fruit in a mixing bowl and arrange the mixture into eight 3-ounce popsicle molds.

2. Pour enough juice into each mold to just cover fruit.

3. Insert popsicle sticks and freeze until solid (about six hours).

Servings: 8
